Preparing for the Future

Beyond school, Honduras Croissance promotes the acquisition of practical knowledge.

This non-formal education program complements school-based educational programs, offering youth and adults practical training. This extra-curricular training provides knowledge that will enable them to practice a trade and earn a living in their community.

Honduras Rising has organized various workshops:

• raw earth construction techniques during construction projects
• electricity workshops for children during school vacations
• soap-making workshops for mothers
• developing compost for college students

Did you know?

Electricity workshops have been in existence since November 2017 and take place during the major school vacations. Children enrolled in “Sport for All” are invited to participate. They learn the basics of an electrical circuit and the principles of installing a light bulb and its switch..
