Since the beginning of April, Honduras Rising has expanded its music program to the community of El Pacayal in Siguatepeque. Currently, 20 children and young people between the ages of 8 and 18 are participating in classes in violin, guitar, percussion, and choir.

Each week, two teachers travel to the community to provide lessons and support the students’ musical development. Thanks to their dedication and enthusiasm, the students have made rapid progress and are already preparing for their next concert.

This new program site represents an important step in the growth of our work, reaffirming our commitment to bringing music education and new opportunities for personal development to more children and young people throughout Honduras.
